As a club sport, we receive partial funding from Recreational Sports and the University of Minnesota.  We are able to meet the rest of our budget needs through team fundraising.

For our team, fundraising is an ongoing process.  Here are some fundraising events from 2006:

• Assisting with the silent auction at the Wayzata Yacht Club banquet
• Pavilion clean-ups
• T-Shirt sales
• Highway cleanup
• Alumni regatta

In addition, one of our strongest fundraising programs is our Booster Club.  Newsletters are sent to those who help fund our sailing experience.  To show our appreciation to individuals donating on a higher tier, they receive a gift as well as a newsletter.
